Germany : "Überdosis Glück"
Once upon a time...
... or rather 200 years ago the Brothers Grimm lived and worked in Kassel.
It was here that they first published their collection of fairytales which has become popular around the world.
As an homage to the anniversary of this special event and also to celebrate the 1100th anniversary of our great city of Kassel we produced this year's entry around the theme of some of the most popular fairytales of the Brothers Grimm.
Besides that, with this video we express our support of the currently running application to add our very special and wonderful mountainous park region "Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe" to the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage.

Die Arbeit daran musste den Schülern großen Spaß machen !
Bei uns sind alle Märchen der Gebrüder Grimm bekannt, sie wurden auch von tschechischen Märchenschriftstellern nacherzählt. Am beliebtesten ist wahrscheinlich Aschenputtel, das wir hier lieben, auch dank der Filmverarbeitung aus dem Jahre 1973 (als Film heißt es Drei Nüsse für Aschenbrödel).

Wunderbar! Da wird der nächste Besuch durch den Bergpark jetzt ganz neue Gedanken und Gefühle wecken.
Wahrscheinlich werde ich etwas enttäuscht sein, dann keine von euren netten Märchengestalten zu treffen - - aber die Erinnerung bleibt ja wach.
It´s so nice! While the next walk through the Bergpark I will get new thoughts and feelings. But probably I will miss your little knights, frogs, princesses....
But I will keep them in mind.

Toll, ich kenne die Kinder, ich kenne die Orte und freue mich über jedes Märchen, dass ich wieder erkenne. Bis ich alle erkannt hatte, musste oder besser durfte ich das Video mehrmals sehen. It is amazing to live upon the scenery of all fairy tales all day and night. The forests, castels, the spirit of princes or princesses. That lives you always with a touch of hope and alot of fantasy to live with. The views, costumes, filming, acting and music left me breathless.
